Traditionally, Chroniclers were in charge of the printed monthly newsletter for their branch. The newsletters contained a calendar of upcoming events, meeting minutes, messages from officers and baronages, and assorted articles and photos.
As websites have become more ubiquitous and (generally) easier to operate, and particularly as Facebook has taken over the role of communication within the group, these newsletters have largely fallen away.
