Weekly

A&S evening

Mondays – Same time and venue as Fighter Practice, but Building (Hut) 1 instead of the hall
Started Sep 2016 there is a weekly** Arts & Sciences evening at the Addison Rd centre for those who wish to A&S.
Everyone is welcome, come and enjoy a warm, inviting place to work on projects! You will need to sign in as a member or pay a $5 event membership, as this is an official SCA event. Donations are very welcome to support venue hire.

**Other than monthly Senate meetings, which you are also welcome to attend

A&S drop-in

Tuesdays – Same time and venue as Fighter Practice
There’s always a few people at fighter practice doing some of their projects, generally hand-sewing or embroidery. Feel free to bring your current project along if you want some companionship.

Calligraphy and Illumination group

Every Thursday 7pm, Meadowbank
Mistress Cairistiona nic Bheathain hosts an evening of calligraphy and illumination at her house every Thursday night. Scribes of all abilities and experience are welcome. You can work on your own project, or contribute to the scrolls that the College of Scribes produces for all awards, grants and patents of arms in the Kingdom.

Monthly

Dence Park A&S day (combines Fibre Guild Day, Children’s Dance Practice and Games Day)

One Saturday or Sunday a month dates vary – Dence Park Community Centre Epping
A day-long A&S activity session for all members of the Barony. The day includes structured activities for children, and some scheduled classes for adults. Specific event notices will be posted as these classes are determined.

Singing Group

Second Tuesday of the month – Same time and venue as Fighter Practice
Every second Tuesday of the month an informal singing group is held. Songs form the Lochac songbook, the Ursulan songbook and the Festival XL songbook are taught and then sung. Songs are generally rounds or ballads and are suitable for singers of all abilities and experience.
